In 1993 the 2nd album by Finnish legend SENTENCED was released and it marked an impressive step ahead from the pure death metal sound of the nonetheless excellent debut “Shadows Of Past” towards a more technical and melody-tinged style. Also, Taneli Jarva’s vocals developed towards a more screamed and aggressive direction. Rounded off with liner notes and a bonus disc containing the “The Trooper” EP, the “Journey To Pohjola” demo plus the rough pre-“Amok” demos “The Glow Of 1000 Suns” and “Amok Run” this is another essential opus of Finnish metal history!
